This clinic to be held at the Highland Ave. Roller Rink in Broomall is designed for boys and girls in grades 1 through 12. Utilizing the roller rink as the box arena, participants will train and develop their skills with professional instructors in high paced, fun drills that will accent their field knowledge. Come join us as we put the fun back in fundies (fundamentals) and take your game to the next level! The instructors are 8-year National Lacrosse League Veteran and 3-time All Star Luke Wiles, and former Drexel University player Dan Layfield. Both are local residents who have extensive coaching experience. Please contact Marple Newtown Recreation at 610-353-2326 for further information. Recommended equipment Needed includes Stick, Helmet, Gloves, Shoulder Pads, Arm Pads, Groin Protection, Mouthguard and Running/Basketball Shoes. Understanding this is new to many, we will start with basic box lacrosse concepts and discuss equipment needs as the program progresses.
