MARPLE NEWTOWN RECREATION and THE KID'S STOP Child Care Program are always searching for responsible people for their respective divisions. Recreation employment opportunities exist for Certified Lifeguards, Swim Instructors, Program Leaders, Recreation Aides, Building Supervisors and Summer Camp Counselors. The Kid's Stop Program offers a variety of professional and non-professional employment opportunities during the school year and also during the summer. Licensing regulations state that all employees must obtain a Pa State Police Criminal Record Check, Child Abuse Clearance and a FBI Fingerprint Based Federal Criminal History Check. In addition, employees must get an Annual Physical and TB test, and must pursue ongoing Child-Care Training.
